Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Following up on new business opportunities by researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives when it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include: Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
• Communicating new solution developments to prospective clients .
• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
• Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills to develop long term strategic relationships.
• Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively grow the business and generate sales.
• Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing accounts and look for new opportunities.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports company revenue and profitability targets.
• Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote Revvlocity. Prepare and give business reviews and presentations to the senior management team.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant business development or sales experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting and Public Speaking skills.
• Motivation for Sales.
• Identification for Customer Needs and Challenges.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications and CRM’s.
• Market Knowledge and expertise in meeting sales goals.
